# Merchant Readiness

> Prerequisites and requirements before operating as a merchant on P2P Protocol

Before operating, ensure you have the following.

## Prerequisites

<Check>An account on a supported client/admin interface (wallet is provided in-app via thirdweb integration)</Check>

<Check>Required settlement liquidity for supported currency operations</Check>

<Check>Active payment rails/accounts you can operationally maintain</Check>

  Make sure you have sufficient liquidity and active payment channels before registering as a merchant. These are essential for accepting and completing orders.
